Rain interrupted the Mixed Doubles Combined 8.5 Rating Tournament a couple of times during the round robin and then the heavens finally opened during the playoffs. Great play by everyone who participated! In the rain shortened finals, I issued medals based on their points scored before we had to take cover.
Kongratulations to Wendy Bledsoe and Bill Harris for going undefeated and tallying 9 in the finals for the gold. Maureen Plainfieldand Rick Mosteller for also going to undefeated and gaining 5 points during finals for a silver finish. Billie and Mark Petty also finished undefeated and 4 points in the finals for the bronze. Honorable mention goes to Kim McClain and Howard Payne for losing one game (8-11) and scoring 3 in the finals. Well played!
