Crazy Fun for the Halloween Inflatables!

What a crazy good time we had at the Halloween Inflatables Fun Tourney to benefit the Sumter County Special Olympics! There were no losers and everyone, especially the Special Olympics, was a winner!
 
We raised $285 from the 50/50 raffle and had another $410 in donations going towards new shirts for the athletes. The winner of the 50/50, John Patton, generously gave his winnings back to the Special Olympics so they came away with all $695! And I think another dozen or so used paddles were collected, too! Way to go!
 
Everyone give yourselves a hand for participating and also for the fans who came to watch! Thanks to Fred Veenstra, Miriam Bernstein, Diane Fuleky, and Kathy Haley for volunteering to help!
 
That was a hoot and a holler!

There were some minor glitches towards the end of the livestream where I lost the network connection and the announcement of the raffle and start of the pickle pong games. And I suffered a camera shutdown on the GoPro capturing footage from court 7 after about an hour of recording time. What are you going to do?

The bane of all who rely on it! Unfortunately, this camera capturing the footage from Court 7 decided it wasn’t going to have it and shutdown after a little less than an hour of recording. Regardless, we were able to capture the essence of our fun loving pickleball community coming out to support a great cause. Rock On!
