And the skies parted, and there was sun, glorious sun. What a beautiful day for the Women’s 4.0 Double Tournament and as expected, the play was exhilarating! Two teams made it through the first 5 games unscathed and the 3rd and 4th teams had only 1 loss each.
Once again, the team of Kim Buffington and Pam Copeland went all the way to claim the Gold, defeating Wendy Bledsoe and Kim McLain, 11-6, in the semi and then Judi Bullock-Bohr and Jolisa Koscheski, 11-3, in the final.
Judi and JoJo earned the Silver by defeating Lori Mueller and Deb Halterman, 11-6 in the semi.
Lori and Deb brought home the Bronze by defeating Wendy and Kim, 11-5, after losing to Judi and JoJo, 11-6 in the semi. Kongratulations to all the winners and participants!
