Week 3 of the King Kong Tournaments MLP League was nearly swept away by the wind as an approaching front made for super challenging conditions to overcome. You really had to pick wisely about picking ends and how you arranged your lineup.
For the Champions League, we’re down to only 2 undefeated teams: Simply Smashing and Dink Floyd, both managing to win their matches 3-1. Born to Rally held on to maintain their division lead by winning their dreambreaker for 2 more pts to their total. Every other team in the Red division, except for the Ball Busters are still in the hunt with either 5 or 4 pts. The Thunder Chickens are in control of their destiny with 8 pts and are in the lead for the best of the rest. In the Blue division, Dinkin’ Donuts and Baseline Ballers still have a shot to take down Dink Floyd with 6 and 5 pts, respectively and each facing the Floyds in the next 2 weeks.
For the Challengers League, only one team remains perfect through 3 weeks and they are the Rally Wreckers in the White division. Trailing closely are Lucky 13 with a dreambreaker win today to bring them up to 8 pts. In the Red division, the Can-Am Crushers took the top spot with their dreambreaker win to get them to 8 pts, with the idle Made You Dink and Spinners & Smashers sitting at 6 pts.
