Pardon the interruption. The Mixed 6.5 and Under was rolling along and we nearly got to the finals before a streamer of rain nailed us with one last game to complete in the round robin.
Tim and Maike DeMaria lead Glen Smith and Jan Stephens, 9-7-2 with Maike serving on the odd court. Tim and Maike are presently undefeated and if the manage to win, they will be the top in their bracket.
However, if Glen and Jan manage to defeat Tim and Maike, based on head-to-head tiebreaker, they would be #1 in their bracket.
Hanging in the balance is the team of Robert Duval and Jackie Mantegna for the best of rest. If Tim and Maike win, they’re in like Flynn, otherwise by virtue of the Total points already at 53, Tim and Maike are in. The foursome will wrap up their game offline and we’ll look to complete the finals maybe Nov 24.
