What an amazing day of pickleball today at the King Kong Tournaments The Villages FL! The weather was nearly perfect for the 18 teams entering the squared circle. The top two teams went undefeated all the way into the finals and we had to go to a tie break to determine who would be fourth to play in the playoffs (by a 1 point point differential).
The dynamic duo of Kim & John Buffington brought home the Gold over Vicki Babbe and Carl Marquese, 11-7. On the road to Silver, Vicki & Carl defeated Ron Rivas & Gina Dennis, 11-6. The Buffs reached the finals by taking down Tony Chiravolo & Vickie Ostrander, 11-1. Ron & Gina earned the Bronze over Tony Chiravolo & Vickie Ostrander, 11-7.
