Good news! Our courts at Ezell have been renewed for the upcoming fall/winter season! We’ll be kicking off the new season on Oct 2 with the Mixed Doubles Combined Advanced/Intermediate Tournament. At least one partner needs to be at the Intermediate level. Signup starts on Tue, Sep 23 at 8:30p.
The rest of Oct will have the Mixed Combined Intermediate/Base, Women’s Advanced, and closing out with the popular Inflatables Tournament to benefit the Special Olympics of Sumter County.
November will be a Stars & Stripes Tournament featuring 4 teams of veterans from each branch of the military and this will be to benefit the Honor Flights organization. Each branch are to form platoons of 10-12 players that will be divided into 2 squads of 4 (2 women and 2 men) and play a 2 series of Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and 2 Mixed Doubles games. If the matches end in a 2-2 tie, teams will play one more Mixed Doubles games as a tiebreaker.
December and January will resume with the rest of the Women’s levels and then the Men’s levels. Afterwards, I may have another Winter MLP League.
