Another great day of competition at the King Kong Tournaments MLP Summer League!
 
The Super Gremlins had another Sunday sweep, defeating both the Cart Crashers and then the Slice is Right but will have to wait another week to try and clinch the #1 seed for the playoffs.
 
The Slice had a rough day as they also dropped their opener to their sister team, Let’s Make a Dill but managed to hold on to the #4 seed with 26 points.
 
Let’s Make a Dill leaped over the Slice and then made a run for the second seed by dropping the Gangsta’s for 6 pts today, bring their season points to 31, two shy of the current #2, Dinkin’ Donuts.
 
The Donuts clung on to their #2 spot by going to a Dreambreaker with Carpe Dinkem and then taking down the Star Spangled Smashers for 4 points on the day. They need to sweep the rest of the matches this season, including their final game with the Gremlins for an outside chance of tying the Gremlins should the Gremlins win only 1 more match this season.
 
Carpe Dinkem, with their Dreambreaker win over the Donuts but loss to the Aceholes, managed to stay ahead of the surging Aceholes. Both teams are are tied on season points with 24 each, but Carpe have a marginally better W/L (36/21 to 35/24, respectively) total points scored (1164 to 1148) and points differential (209 to 112).
 
Dink-N Go-Nuts had a great day by first winning in a Dreambreaker against the Gangsta’s and then passing the Gangsta’s with another win against the Crashers for 5 points on the day.

The footage from court 1 has several issues: the cooling fan noise, a tripod that refuses to stay extended, and power issues. See the timestamps for where the latter 2 issues came into play.
