Another crazy good day at the King Kong Tournaments MLP Summer League. While it wasn’t as hot as it has been, the air was so think with moisture, you could cut through it with a knife.
And continuing to cut through the competition were the Gremlins, coming away with another 2 wins and 6 pts. The Donuts tried to keep up but the Aceholes got in the way and dropped them in an exciting Dreambreaker to gain only 4 pts on the day, includuing their win over the Go-Nuts. Let’s Make a Dill split their matches and are just barely holding on to their #3 spot over their sister team, the Slice is Right, who had a great day in winning both their matches for the day to tie each up at 22 pts (both teams also have identical records but the Dills have more total points scored, 831, to 818 for the Slice).
Spencer’s Carpe Dinkem received a nice birthday present as the only other team to also go 2-0 for 6 pts, and are now closely nipping at the heels of the 5th placed Aceholes.
