It’s week 5 of the King Kong Tournaments MLP League.
It’s going down to the wire for the Champions League:
In the Blue Division, the Dink Floyds can’t be caught at 12 pts but can determine the fate of the Baseline Ballers sitting at 8 and a possible chance for the 4th seed for the playoffs.
In the White Division, the Thunder Chickens at 10 pts can try to steal the division from Simply Smashing at 12. However, if they go to the Dreambreakers and win, Simply Smashing would still take the division with 13 pts and the Chickens would likely qualify as the 4th seed with 12 pts.
The Red Division has the potential to get into a 3 way tie if the Super DUPRs can win their match over Born to Rally and if OMG beats the Ball Busters, both without going into a Dreambreaker. If that happens, we’ll review the head-to-head records, match results, total points, and points differential to see who will come out on top.
Looking ahead, OMG must win, combined with Born to Rally winning and the Thunder Chickens and Baseline Ballers losing in their divisions to have a chance at the 4th seed.

Challengers League:
It’s the Can-Am Crushers and Spinners & Smashers sitting atop the Red division and the Rally Wreckers and Lucky 13 in the White Division. There are 3 matches to go and any team with 6 or more points still has a chance in the division races. Remember, it’s the top 2 teams in each division that will proceed to the playoffs and finals!
Schedule reminder for Mar 9:
That will be the playoffs and finals for the Champions League so we will dedicate the entire day to them. In case of a tie for the 4th seed, we will have a play-in match before moving on to the playoffs.
No Challengers League play and we will double up the matches for the following weekend with week 6 matches to be held from 10a-noon and week 7 matches from noon-2p.
Come on down to Ezell, Sunday, 10a – 2p to watch all the action from courtside. If you can’t make it down, tune in to the YT channel and watch the livestream from court 6:
