So many great pickleball tournaments going on with Nan’s Moneyball, Mo’s Pickleball Obsession MLP Pickleball, http://Kingkongtournaments.com! Any one who is addicted to PB knows what I am talking about.
Oct 4 will be my first KKT. We’re starting off with men’s 4.5+, followed by women’s 4.0-4.49 and then the Halloween Fund Raiser for Celebrate Differences. Villages Special Olympics. (Rick Estes is my contact person for this tourney). Once you create an account in https://kingkongtournaments.com, then you will be able to register for events. No data is carried over from the original KKT website. I’m starting from scratch.
I will be doing a two-week MLP Tournament to raise money for the Veteran Honor Flight on Jan 17 and 24. The villages send out four honor flights annually. The cost is $118k per flight. Being a veteran, I’m all in with supporting this organization in any way I can. There are so many Veterans in the villages and if you ever have a chance to sit down and talk to them, please listen. You’re talking to an individual who has paid a price!
The scoring/white boards will switch back to the shady side of Ezell. Players will now be required to come up to record the score of their match. That way I know the scores are correct. Miriam Gomez will run the scoreboard so I’m hoping this will minimize any confusion when it comes to the playoffs.
