Halloween Charity Event

For this year, we're planning to have a charity event to benefit one of our local charities (Special Olympics? Honor Flight?).

Planning is in the early phases and among the suggestions are:

• Inflatables Pickleball - playing pickleball while wearing an inflatable costume

  • Sign up for random play. You'll be assigned a team number and we will do a card draw to determine your opponent. Number of rounds will depend on how many teams sign up.
  • Amazon has a wide variety of inflatables for around $20-$40, get one now to play!
• Pickleball Pong - arrange 6 buckets in the a triangle above the T in the kitchen. Knock out your opponent's bucket by landing a ball in a bucket (has to stay in) and each time that happens, the opponents drink. Bodying an opponent while they are in the kitchen = hitting a bucket (choice of bucket to eliminate). Losers also must take a drink of pickle juice on top of the beer.

  • Bring your 5 gallon buckets with you! We'll have some to start but if we can get up to 6 courts worth in total (72), that would be great!
• Cost to participate: $10 per team (collected on site)
  • Proceeds to be split between the Sumter County Special Olympics and the winners of Inflatables Pickleball and Pickleball Pong
